Judith Black
Bio:
Awards, citations, publications and recognition for a career in its third decade do not adequately convey the virtuosity of this storyteller. The Boston Globe describes her as “spellbinding, heartwarming, funny and colorful.” “Black has culled the minefields of childhood and elevated them through her storytelling to a level of universal experience that is not only painful and poignant, but gut-wrenchingly hilarious.” She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has performed to standing ovations around the country and six times at the National Storytelling Festival.
