Sheila shares British Isle ballads that have been passed down through seven generations of her family. Sheila has performed stories and songs throughout the United States and England, but always returns to her roots in North Carolina where she resides in the county where she was born. Harriet Arrington is a dynamic storyteller who involves the audience in her tales. She tells multi-cultural tales with an emphasis on African tales or teaching fables. African folktales are powerful tools used by parents to teach children life lessons. Harriet is the author of a book, "The Heart", an east African folk tale.
